Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of kiili.me and the KiiLime network: the KiiLime app, the KiiLimeDB community database, and KiiVerse. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. They were last updated in August 2026.
Who can use KiiLime
You may use KiiLime if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use KiiLime with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
Accounts sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; there are no passwords. Keep your email address accurate and your inbox secure, and do not share access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at the contact address below if you believe someone else is using it.
Acceptable use
When using KiiLime, you agree not to:
- upload, post, or share anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, or otherwise abusive;
- upload material you do not have the right to share, or misrepresent who owns something;
- impersonate another person, or claim an affiliation with a company or rights holder that you do not have;
- disrupt, overload, scrape in bulk, probe, or attempt to defeat the security of the service;
- use KiiLime to distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content, or to break the law.
Your contributions
KiiLimeDB and KiiVerse let you add games, edit metadata, upload art and audio, vote, write a profile, and message other players. You keep whatever rights you already hold in what you contribute, and you grant KiiLime a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and distribute your contributions as part of the service. You are responsible for your contributions and confirm you have the right to share them. We may review, moderate, edit, or remove any contribution, and metadata edits keep a public revision history.
Third-party material and copyright
Game names, artwork, screenshots, trademarks, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners; KiiLime does not own them. Our Copyright & Licensing page explains this in full and sets out how to send a copyright notice, a DMCA notice, or a counter-notice. We remove infringing material and may suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Moderation and termination
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that break these terms or harm the service or its community. You may stop using KiiLime at any time; to have your account and its data deleted, email us from the address on the account (see our Privacy Policy).
Service provided as is
KiiLime is a small, community-run project offered as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free, or that community information in KiiLimeDB is accurate or complete. To the fullest extent allowed by law, KiiLime and its author are not liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use KiiLime means you accept the updated terms.
